 Grand Opening Today (12th Jan)
Club Organisation

TWO-TIMES Olympian and Commonwealth Silver Medallist Nick Rose has recently opened Bristol's newest running and fitness shop, Up & Running, with a familiar figure in Bristol's running scene, Rick Wallis.

Although the shop opened in late December, the official grand opening will be held this Saturday, the 12th, January, between 9am and 6pm. £40 goody bags are to be given away with shoe purchases* and a free Hilly gift with purchases of £15 or more on Hilly Clothing.

On Saturday, both Nick and Rick would like to welcome you to come along and find out what Up & Running is all about, and how it can motivate you to achieve your running and fitness ambitions.

Those in need of inspiration will be able to rub shoulders with Ron Hill, the legendary “Tough of the Track”, who will be at the store between 9am and 1pm to answer questions and sign autographs. Two-times Olympian Steeplechaser Tony Staynings will also be available to offer his expertise on any running queries you may have.

Up and Running not only looks after the interests of runners of all abilities, but also those of walkers, gym users and orienteers. Up & Running stocks shoes, clothing and accessories for these activities and the trained staff use digital gait analysis to take the guesswork out of buying your running and fitness shoes. All staff are local runners who use their personal and technical experience to provide you with the most appropriate kit, as well as with information about the local running and fitness scene.

Contact manager Sarah Herbert with any queries on 0117 9739092, or at bristol@upandrunning.co.uk
