Read the report ....

LU17s: Hayley Green achieved 3 1st place and two PBs in HT and DT. Yasmin Dyer made her NYAL debut and won the PV with some ease.

U15Gs: Zoe Laing and Daisy Da Silva won A & B in the long jump and almost repeated this in the high jump. Evie Tanner and Kim Yeates were close to the winner in the 75m hurdles.

U13Gs: Lucy Bryan cleared 1.37m in the high jump (PB) and went very close to clearing the grade 1 height of 1.40.

U17M: Martin Hall in a match against the might of Birchfield won the 100m in 11.2. Also achieving grade 1s were James Preston SP and Ding Yang LJ. James managed winning throws in SP, HT and DT. Lewis Hield ran well in the 400 52.5 secs and put in similar efforts in the 200m and the 4 x 400 relay. It was terrific to see Tony Hillier join with Cameron Walker-Shepherd in the pole vault. The"A" and "B" wins were to be expected but it was Tony's first outing after knee problems.

U15B: Tom Gibson upstaged the U17 pole vaulters by clearing 3.90m. Another superb effort which eclipsed the stadium age record set by Martin Parley ( Bristol A C) who went on later that season to win the English Schools championships.

U13B: New recruit Julian Mogg still an U12 made a big impression in his first outing. A superb 200m time of 28.2 secs was a welcome boost to the team. He was told to enjoy the day and he certainly did and we shall eagerly watch his progression.
