 | 'Good Practice In Involving Volunteers' Course |
 The Somer Valley Partnership (Somer Centre, Saturday 21 April) and Get Active
Many groups and clubs rely on volunteers so it is important to have effective strategies for involving them and keeping them involved. This workshop will enable you to develop a volunteer strategy that benefits both your club or group and your volunteers.
You will learn:
How to develop and promote volunteer roles and opportunities within your group
How to create a positive environment for volunteers
How to balance the needs of the volunteers with the needs of your group
We are fortunate to have as tutors for this course Helen Morrison from the Centre for Volunteers (Bath & North East Somerset) and Nick Bird. Both have a wealth of experience in working with and providing training and support for volunteers in the area.
