Young Athletes

Katie Knowles and Emma Reed also travelled to Belfast where they raced in the Junior Womens and U/17 category. Katie ran very strongly to beat current UKA Challenge series leader Louise McHale (Halesowen AC) by 6 seconds finishing in 4th (U/17), but second Britain home to Sian Edwards (Kettering AC). Emma ran very well and strongly over the 4.04k course which was firm and fast running on the day to finish in 9th place (U/17). - news submission,
