 Veteran Success
Race Fixtures and Results

There was success for the Women and Men at the recent British Masters Cross-country Relay Championships in Newport on Saturday 29th October. The ladies V45 struck Gold while the men V40's took the Silver.

The ladies team, consisting of Debbie Howard, Alison Hurford and Sian Monahan proved too strong for the competition, winning by almost a minute. Sian ran the fastest time of the day. The Westbury Harriers also ran well, finishing in 5th place.

The men's team, consisting of Dan Moore, Jerry Hogan, Alec Woods, Phil Parry, Clive Bromhall and Nick Rose put up a valiant effort to finish just behind the first team for a very worthy Silver medal.
